Counseling and Psychotherapy
Services

I offer both short-term counseling and longer-term psychotherapy with adolescents and adults. During the initial in-person session you and I will be able to talk together about the fit between your needs and what I offer. After our first few sessions I will be able to offer you some ideas for what our work can include based on how I understand your goals and needs.

Counseling Approach and style
My approach to the counseling/psychotherapy relationship is collaborative and active. My goal is to help you feel comfortable about sharing what’s most important to you and to assist you in best meeting your goals. My theoretical orientation is integrationist and I will draw upon the principles of humanistic, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness approaches according to your presenting concerns and needs. Most important to our work is the trusting, nurturing therapy relationship that we build together as we focus on helping you take positive steps toward your goals.
